As you may have read on my home page or on “about me” Dancing Ginger is about Fueling, Moving and Loving your body. This is something I am very passionate about. Something I use in my everyday life and in my coaching practice.
Every day I set 3 mini goals;
What am I going to do to FUEL myself?
What and I going to do to MOVE?
How am I going to LOVE myself?
Every day it is a bit different; maybe I had a lot of salt the night before. My fuel might simply be to drink more water. LOVE might be a 10 min meditation. Somedays MOVE is a dance class, somedays its a bit more specific; Pull up strength work. The options are ENDLESS!
The first thing I do in the morning is set my intention for the day. FUEL MOVE LOVE. These are the main principles I use in my life and how I influence others. If it is one on one with a client, in a blog post, or in a group setting. I believe if you do something to fuel, move and love yourself each day you will live a long, happy and healthful life.
It took me while to get in the habit of setting my goals. It may take you a while too. I recommend leaving yourself a bathroom note or write it down, take a picture of it and leave it as your background on your phone. Put those words “FUEL MOVE LOVE” somewhere where you will see it every day (preferably first thing in the morning). It may take you a while so its ok and totally normal to have slip ups or a day where you forget. Its A-OK. Remember, love yourself don’t beat yourself up.
